10 Top Fashion Trends For Spring/Summer 2023
10 Top Fashion Trends For Spring/Summer 2023
1.Quiet Luxury: Blazers
Have you heard of quiet luxury as a trend for the summer? Think: classic and minimal style with neutral colors. Some items that embody the quiet luxury trend are blazers, trousers, button-down shirts. Consider clothing pieces that are complete with impeccable tailoring. In order to channel the quiet luxury trend, I decided to pick up a gorgeous new linen blazer. My linen blazer is under $65 and has structured shoulder pads for a better fit.

2. Quiet Luxury: Tailored Shorts/Pants
I have to include another subcategory for the quiet luxury trend with tailored shorts/pants. Tailored shorts and trouser pants are everywhere these days! Not sure if you’ve noticed these styles gaining popularity while you are out shopping, but there’s not a single place I shop at where I don’t find tailored bottoms available. It has taken me some time to grasp this trend and find my own pieces to explore the quiet luxury movement.

3. Top Fashion Trends: Barbiecore
Let the summertime be your chance to dress up in head to toe pink! The Barbiecore trend will be any girly-girls favorite because she can combine multiple shades of pink into one look! I am excited to style summer looks with the Barbiecore trend in mind. So far I have a few looks that I’ve put together featuring girly pink finds from Express and Amazon.

4. Saturated Floral Prints
Not your regular florals! Saturated floral prints with exaggerated and over-the-top designs are IN for summer 2023. At Walmart, I was able to secure a satin midi dress with highly saturated florals at an affordable price. I will include details on my outfit below.

5. Puffy Sandals
I’ve noticed a lot of “puffy” styles with accessories and shoes for summer 2023. Thankfully, this trend has trickled down from designers to attainable retailers. Target and Walmart have taken the puffy trend and created their own designer-inspired shoes and handbags. For example, I have a wonderful pair of puffy slide sandals from Target that I wear and style on a regular basis.
6. Elevated Basics
In continuation with the quiet luxury trend, fashion designers showed a lot of elevated basics on the runway for summer 2023. For example, take a classic striped button down shirt. I covered a lot more elevated basics in my Summer Capsule Wardrobe post as well.

7. Bubble Hems
This early 00s trend has made a comeback! Bubble hemlines on dresses and skirts are here to stay for 2023. You can have fun with the bubble hemline trend by finding a cute dress that features this style. I found a cute hot pink mini dress complete with a bubble hemline at Target! It would be adorable to wear to the Taylor Swift concert, too.

8. Matching Sets
Coordinating sets are effortless for the summer. Not only do you have one cohesive look when you get a 2-pc set, but you also have interchangeable pieces to play with! A cute neutral set I found at Walmart feels comfortable and lightweight for a casual summer day.

9. Lavender: Purple Craze
One of the hottest colors for this summer will be lavender. You can wear this color many ways. Stick to a simple lavender dress to wear this color in an easy way or wear the shade in a matching set. Personally, I am LOVING the lavender color and have worn quite a few purple pieces this past spring! Take a look at some of my favorite ways to style lavender. One of my top looks? The purple maxi dress with a sweetheart neckline from Target.

10. Halter Tops
One final trend to keep your eye out for this summer will be halter tops. In addition to other 90s trends coming back in style again, so are halter tops. One beautiful halter top I found for the summer is an Express cream colored top with a flattering sweat heart neckline.
