In 2023 we saw “Quiet Luxury” take over as a trend to follow. We can thank fashion icon Sofia Richie for embracing Quiet Luxury in her own personal style in 2023. Sofia Richie wore a lot of sophisticated Chanel pieces in neutral colors and over sized clothing. In 2024 we are going to notice a slight shift from Quiet Luxury into Corporate-core. Consider re-wearing the blazers that you bought for your Quiet Luxury style this season with high-waisted trousers.

As for a trendy shoe style, choose slingbacks for their versatility. You can wear a comfortable slingback kitten heel with jeans for a daytime look. I like that I’ve found affordable slingbacks at Target and Amazon to wear this trend on a budget.

Ready-to-wear fashion shows like Acne Studios and Stella McCartney featured sheer designs in a similar fashion to the runways of 2023. Sheer will continue to have its moment well into spring 2024. To wear the sheer trend you don’t necessarily need to bare it all. One can wear a sheer lace top underneath a slip dress to achieve the look. Walmart also has a beautiful long sleeve sheer top that has a camisole lining underneath.

I noted a trend in preppy styling back in the fall. With spring, we’ll see similar preppy favorites stick around well into the summertime. Stripes and tweed are two essential preppy patterns at play for spring 2024.
